Request: Create an animated e-learning commercial in the shape of an informative presentation. Needs to stand out. Duration 4-5 minutes.

Requirements:

• Create a 4-5 minute scenario concerning the subject of presentation techniques (public speaking)
• Visual development of 2 characters and several backgrounds (including a library of mouth shapes and costum-made, key-locked, handshapes and arm movements)
• Specify text and voice-overs
• Record audio presentation and dialogue
• Audio post-production
• Animate the characters
• Edit animated footage + background
• Record foley
• Edit sound FX and music score
• Develop motion graphics of intro-titles and lower-thirds
• File-handling, render, upload, administration, etc

 
Process:

Once the basic idea and the visuals for the video were approved, we went into full production mode, presenting prelimenary results along the way.

This allowed the client to voice any wishes for changes in early stages during the process, saving us both time. Basically, the shorter the lines of communication, the faster the process.

Because we have all expertise needed for a project like this in-house, we can develop, adapt, and finilize the product very efficiently. For instance, during editing we felt we needed to add a couple of lines of dialogue to smooth out a certain part of the animation. So we simply stepped into the sound booth and recorded the material necessary right then and there. Having all skills, knowledge, and material under one roof presents a huge advantage.
